It is an excellent place to relax, either in the cold waters of its cenote or in the places arranged in its facilities, well maintained and its staff very attentive.

Chill vibe compared to other cenotes. No cameras, no music, no staff hovering around, no problems bringing our own food or adult beverages. Very relaxing We were the only ones there most of the day. $250 MX entrance fee. They allow camping as well.

We visited this Mayan village during a guided tour and were very happy that we came here! Located off the beaten track, this Mayan village inside a forest area has its own cenote and a pagoda where we were able to make tortillas and enjoy freshly prepared Agua de Jamaica (tea made from hibiscus flowers). The cenote was especially impressive – we were able to take a refreshing swim in the clear blue water while bats and motmots flew around over us. We enjoyed our visit a lot and can definitely recommend a visit!

Visited twice as part of TUI excursions. The first one was a day visit where we had a tour of the village and learnt about the modern Mayan culture. Part of the tour was making a traditional tortilla, followed by a tour of the villages Temazcal (sauna) we then had the opportunity to swim in the cenote. An amazing experience, granted the parts you see are a bit touristy but that's how the village makes a living.
We then visited in the evening to be a part of a Mayan blessing and cleansing ceremony, this was in the form of receiving a blessing for a Mayan shaman (in training) and then entering the Temazcal, when I say it's hot, it's HOT, at 100% humidity and pitch black. You can leave it at any point but I would recommend trying to stay for the full 30min. Then a swim in the cenote is a must after! So cooling and refreshing. Lighting in the center of the cenote is adequate but watch out for the rocks in the cenote. We then had a traditional chicken dinner cooked by the Mayan villagers which was very tasty. At no point we're we pressured or pestered for money or to do anything else. Would recommend to anyone visiting that part of Mexico

Really a magical place. Bring your own food and drinks, and underwater camera.
Please do not use sunscreen, it contaminates the water. At most use biodegradable product PLEASE.
And definitely bring mosquito protection for AFTER your swim... so as not to contaminate the waters 😉
